In February every year we place a questionnaire in our waiting rooms for three weeks to find out what children think about us.
45 questionnaires were filled in by children between 6 and 14 years old with more girls than boys responding. This is what they told us:
What do you think of the building and rooms?
Half of you told us that you liked the waiting room and nearly half of you said that you liked your therapy room. But nearly half of you were not sure if you liked the building.
What do you think of the people that work here?
Most of you told us that your therapist and other staff working here had listened to you and looked after you well.
Do you think the Tavistock helps?
Half of you knew why you came to see us and nearly half of you said that coming here had helped you. Most of you told us that coming here had helped your family/carer.
What have we done with your feedback?
We have listened to your feedback and fitted new blinds in the waiting room to make it look brighter. We now receive regular copies of Anorak and National Geographic Kids so you have some fun and interesting children’s magazines to read while you wait.
