Commissioned Training for Teams and Services
The ability for a team or service to work effectively together is essential to good patient and client care. Continuing professional development delivered to teams in the workplace has a vital role to play in enabling professionals to work reflectively and lead with authority.
We offer a range of bespoke training opportunities which can be tailored for specific services and teams. We have delivered a wide range of programmes to nurses, residential and community care workers who undertake some of the most difficult tasks with the most disturbed clients, and often receive very little training and support. The focus of our training is to help workers from across the public sector to address the many psychological issues they are likely to face in their work and to develop the psychotherapeutic skills needed to support them both in supervision and in practice.
By supporting people to develop an understanding of the unconscious processes which are at work, and applying this understanding to the workplace, our programmes support teams to improve quality whilst better supporting each other.

Participants learn how to identify, understand and work with the dimensions of organisations that are usually hidden below the surface.
We aim to create a supportive and open environment that is conducive to learning. The format for our programmes include a mixture of experiential group work, practical exercises, team assignments and input from programme staff.
