Understanding Couples: Half Day Workshop For Counsellors, Psychotherapists And Professionals Working With Parents

This half-day workshop is designed for counsellors and psychotherapists who are concerned with couples in the course of their work and professionals working with parents.

Course aims

This workshop will:

  • Develop your understanding of couple interaction.
  • Consider the impact on the worker of meeting both partners together.
  • Consider the difficulties in responding to distress in such a private area of life.

Time commitment
The workshop is repeated through the year on the following dates:

29 February 2008,
1.30pm - 4.30pm

9 June 2008,
1.30pm - 4.30pm

17 October 2008,
1.30pm - 4.30pm

Participants will be asked to read an article which they will be sent
before the workshop, as preparation for it.

Tailor-made versions of this course can be arranged according to your
