Child and Adolescent Specialty Training (ST1, ST2, ST3) in Psychiatry (M2C)

A six month post in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry that offers psychiatric trainees the opportunity to gain basic competencies in the field.

Course aims

• Provides psychiatric trainees with experience of the mental health problems of children and adolescents.

• Basic competencies in work with young children and adolescents are achieved during the six month post.

• Provides an excellent base for higher training in the field.

Is this course for you?

• Suitable for psychiatric trainees, currently on the Royal Free Hospital training scheme.

• Trainees are based part-time in the Adolescent Department of the Tavistock Clinic, but also undertake work in the Child & Family Department.

• Suited to those wanting to pursue higher training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

• Two posts available.

Time commitment
Six months, full-time.
