This is a professional doctorate programme for students enrolled on Interdisciplinary Training in Adult Psychotherapy for Professional Workers in Health and Social Services (M1) and for psychoanalytic psychotherapists who have qualified through LCP or SAP to undertake a research professional doctorate.

Course aims
• Pursue an additional research element to the Interdisciplinary Training in Adult Psychotherapy for Professional Workers in Health and Social Services (M1) training.
Is this course for you?
• A full professional qualification in medicine, clinical psychology, nursing or social work is required.
• M1 trainees who have successfully completed the first two years are eligible to apply for the Doctorate. All M1 training options are eligible to apply.
• The final award of this Professional Doctorate requires that the student has qualified from the Inter-disciplinary Training in Adult Psychotherapy for Professional Workers in Health and Social Services (M1).
• You will need to be in personal analysis.
Time commitment
Three years. Part-time.
