This course was established to support the challenge of recruiting and retaining black staff in senior positions. It recognises that the needs of black staff in managerial and leadership positions require focused attention and provides an opportunity for participants to look at these both theoretically and practically.

• Increase your skills and confidence as a black leader/manager.

• Of interest if you are a black manager/senior staff working in public, voluntary and private sectors.
• It will help you develop knowledge and understanding of black leadership as well as your effectiveness as a leader in your organisation or community.
Time commitment
There is a commitment of one day a week for 10 weeks.
The course runs from 30 September through to 9 December 2008.
