Postgraduate Certificate in Black Leadership in White Organisations (D66)

This course was established to support the challenge of recruiting and retaining black staff in senior positions. It recognises that the needs of black staff in managerial and leadership positions requires focused attention and provides an opportunity for participants to look at these both theoretically and practically.

• Improve your personal effectiveness and influence as a black leader/manager within your organisation.

• Provide opportunities for personal and professional development and confidence building in leadership.

• Develop ideas of black leadership and an agenda for change.

• Support the emergence of black leadership in white organisations

• Increase your skills and confidence as a black leader/manager.

Is this course for you?

• Of interest if you are a black manager/senior staff working in social care and health services, including education in all sectors - statutory, voluntary and private sectors.

• It will help you in developing ideas of black leadership in your organisation or in the community.

One year, Tuesdays, 9.30am - 1.00pm.
