Time commitment
This is a two year part-time course, which takes place on Wednesdays between 11.15 am and 4.30pm. Students will also have to allow time to see two individual, once weekly patients. In addition, during year two students will undertake a weekly infant observation for an hour.
It is a course requirement, that students are in at least twice weekly personal psychoanalytic psychotherapy with a British Psychoanalytic Council registered Psychotherapist for the duration of the course.
Assessment
Successful completion of D59 will be based on having completed the clinical requirements of the course and on the assessment of the clinical supervisors, who will determine if the students have attained the necessary level of clinical competence.
