Portman Clinic’s Advanced Lecture Series in Psychodynamic Forensic Work (P2 lectures)

September 2008 - July 2009
Fee: £210 per term (10 lectures) or £550 for year (30 lectures)
Venue: Portman Clinic

Many psychotherapists, however experienced, find themselves perplexed and alarmed when working with patients with perverse, violent and delinquent pathology.

The Portman Clinic offers a 2 year diploma in Forensic Psychotherapeutic Studies, which includes a work discussion group, supervision of relevant cases and  a lecture programme. This year, we are offering experienced psychotherapists the opportunity to join the second year lecture series.

These lectures are designed to introduce and elaborate on the important psychoanalytic concepts necessary for understanding extremely difficult patients, which form the ethos of the Portman Clinic's approach.

Lecturers include distinguished experts such as Don Campbell, Estela Welldon, Professor Sue Bailey, Felicity de Zulueta, Valerie Sinason, Richard Lucas and Peter Wilson, as well as experienced members of the Portman Clinic staff.
