September 2008 - February 2009
Fee: £400
Venue: Tavistock Centre, London
This is an opportunity for professionals working with adults, adolescents and children from African or African-Caribbean descent, to join a small practice learning group in order to develop their thinking from an Afro-centric perspective and apply it to their work.
These monthly practice learning groups are designed to give participants a chance to present work in a safe and confidential setting and to explore their work from an African psychology perspective.
There will be opportunities to share ideas and theoretical concepts with other like minded professionals and to reflect on the impact of the work on their own professional development.
