Tavistock Clinic Book Series

The Talking cure: mind and method of the Tavistock Clinic.

A BBC series book which accompanies the series is also available. "Talking Cure: Mind and Method of The Tavistock Clinic" is about the ideas behind the Clinic's approach to emotional development over the course of the lifecycle.

In the book, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and family therapists drawn from across the Tavistock Clinic explore the power of the mind and the full range and importance of the ideas which underpin therapy. Providing insights into many areas of our contemporary life and into the challenges of the future, this book is the up-to-the minute statement of one of Britain's foremost psychotherapeutic traditions.

The book is edited by David Taylor, and written with Margaret Rustin, Caroline Garland, Robin Anderson, Jon Stokes, Jenny Altschuler, Sara Barratt, Rachael Davenhill and Shirley and Mando Meleagrou-Dixon.
