Athens Passwords
You will require a username and password to access most of our electronic resources. You will be given details of how to create your own username and password (known as an Athens password) when you register with the library or contact the library for help.
Some resources are accessible with a separate username and password. Please contact the library for the relevant password stating your name and the library id number on the back of your library card.
Software
Many full-text electronic resources can be downloaded in the form of an Acrobat PDF file, which can then be read off-line or printed out for easier reading.
To view or print out a PDF document, you must have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. As PDF files are widely used on the Internet, it is worthwhile installing Adobe Acrobat Reader. Wherever possible, please use version 5 or above.
If you do not have a copy, you can download the latest version for free from the Adobe website.
