Counselling Children and Young People in Educational Settings: Challenges and opportunities of therapeutic work in schools

Friday 27 June 2008
Fee: tbc
Venue: Tavistock Centre

This one day conference will focus on some of the key complex issues faced by professionals working therapeutically in schools.

The day will offer delegates an opportunity to think about a range of different types of therapeutic work with both pupils and staff, as well as to discuss potential developments and challenges facing those working in school-based settings.

This is the third in a series of conferences organised by the Tavistock Clinic on this topic. For over 30 years, the Clinic has developed a reputation for innovative thinking about therapeutic work in educational settings. We have been offering a wide range of courses and training opportunities for professionals working within education who are interested in child and adolescent mental health.
