How to find us

The Tavistock Centre is a five storey 1960s building at the junction of Belsize Lane and Fitzjohn's Avenue. On the corner itself is a statue of Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) the founder of psychoanalysis who lived nearby (Freud Museum) in the last year of his life.

Portman Clinic is an Edwardian house next to the Tavistock, at 8 Fitzjohn's Avenue, NW3 5NA (020 7794 8262). The main entrance to the Tavistock Clinic is at 120 Belsize Lane, NW3 5BA (020 7435 7111)

The Tavistock Mulberry Bush Day Unit and the Monroe Young Family Centre are next to each other at 33 and 33A Daleham Gardens, NW3 5BU, about 10 minutes walk from the Tavistock Centre.


ARRIVING BY CAR
There is limited pay-and-display car parking in surrounding streets and disabled parking in the Tavistock Centre staff car park (and also, by prior arrangement, a few spaces for parents bringing children).

Swiss Cottage: Jubilee Line (Exit 2) (about 5 minutes walk)
Finchley Road: Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines (about 10 minutes walk)
