Confidentiality and privacy of information about patients is of central importance to the nature of the clinical work undertaken by the trust. All aspects of patient confidentiality are given high priority. There is an active information governance programme led by the Caldicott Guardian (Richard Davies), who is leading a strategy for the the handling of confidential information and protecting patient's privacy throughout the whole trust.
